Privacy Policy
SBA Loan Index is a reference site with no user accounts. This policy covers what we collect when you browse the site and use our tools and forms, and how our analytics and advertising work.
The short version
- No user accounts, and we never sell your information to data brokers.
- Analytics (GA4) and ads (AdSense) use cookies. You can opt out (see Your choices).
- Lender-match: we share only the details you submit, only with the lenders we match you to.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is used — pages viewed, general location, and device type, in aggregate. Google sets cookies and processes this data on our behalf. You can opt out site-wide with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and read how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners are third-party vendors that use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You may opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings and opt out of many third-party advertising cookies at aboutads.info/choices.
Lender-match requests
When you ask us to match you with a lender or send a shortlist (for example, through our Get matched form), we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email, business state, industry, loan amount, use of funds, timeframe, and any lender you select. We use this to identify the SBA lender(s) that best fit your business and to contact you about your request.
To introduce you, we may share the details you submit with the lender(s) we match you to. We match on the public SBA loan data — by fit, not by who pays us — and we do not sell your information to data brokers. You can withdraw your request or ask us to delete the information you submitted at any time by contacting us.
Workout-help requests
When you ask for the stage-matched action plan on our distressed-borrower pages, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email, loan type, where the loan stands, an approximate balance range, and your state. We use this to email you the plan and the guides that apply to your situation.
We share those details with an SBA workout professional only if you checked the separate introduction opt-in, and any such introduction is disclosed up front, including how the professional and this site are connected. We never sell your information to data brokers, declining or ignoring an introduction changes nothing else, and you can ask us to delete what you submitted at any time by contacting us. Nothing in the plan is legal, tax, or financial advice.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, the name, email, and message you submit are processed by our host and forwarded to us, used only to reply. Our host also processes standard request logs (such as IP addresses) to serve and secure the site.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time, opt out of personalized ads and Google Analytics using the links above, and contact us to access or delete information you have submitted to us.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
